Job Role


The successful candidate will support the HOD and work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a holistic, quality and safe dialysis treatment to patients for optimal clinical outcomes and population care management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with both internal and external partners to roll out a holistic care model in support of the Foundation’s push for integrated service delivery and partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Drives quality improvement and patient safety initiatives /programmes in accordance with the Foundation’s directives and / or external regulatory requirements, in addition to implementing patient care management programmes and ensuring compliance to infection control practices / standards.
  • Participates in local / overseas conferences by submitting abstracts for oral or poster presentation as well as organises CME programmes, journal clubs, seminars / conferences.
  • Provides training/mentorship to the clinical teams on Patient Management and advises on medical matters to other departments.

Main Responsibilities (continue)

Qualification (Related Field)

Degree in Medicine from a recognised University
Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) or American Board Certified qualifications or equivalent qualification registerable with SMC
Certificate of Specialist Accreditation in Renal Medicine

Experience

•    5 years’ experience in clinical nephrology practice including clinical management of patients with end-stage renal disease

Soft Skills

•    Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•    Full competence in written and spoken English
