Senior / Physiotherapist

Job Role

To provide physiotherapy services to dialysis patients

Main Responsibilities

1. Assess and identify patients’ needs to perform targeted therapy interventions
2. Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to patients’ needs
3. Collaborate with other professionals in a MDT in the treatment process
4. Other daily administrative process (eg updating treatment / patient’s condition in the CRM)
5. Prepare PT related budget which include tracking on resource utilisation
6. Propose relevant device / equipment if required as part treatment / clinical intervention (includes seeing through the entire procurement process for new facilities set-up or purchase of equipment)
7. Develop work policies, procedures and internal controls to optimize resource and improve patients’ experience during treatment process. Work with internal and external partners to roll out a holistic care model
8. Assist to lead research and/or quality improvement initiatives to improve PT service delivery
9. Empower patients/caregivers/OTA in delivering therapy intervention / follow-up
10. Review, manage staff performance and develop team capabilities which include OJT and/or developing in-service training programs.

Main Responsibilities (continue)

Qualification (Related Field)

• Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised University
• Membership to Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) with full or restricted practicing licence

Experience

At least 5-6 years (for Snr PT), 3-4 years (for PT) of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent is required

Soft Skills

• Possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills with good self-motivation
• Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with good cultural sensitivity
• Must have excellent leadership and decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
• Enjoy working in a pioneering community-based support environment
• Able to converse in some local dialects
